Manifest Privacy Policy

Information Stored on Your Device

Manifest stores the following information locally on your device so the app can provide personalized reflections and progress:

• reflection text and selected mood;
• voice transcripts that you choose to save as reflections;
• identity signals, preferences, and future-self details derived inside the app;
• completed steps, optional step-outcome categories, and progress history;
• content-free product events used to create an optional research report.

Manifest currently has no account system, backend sync, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, or automatic analytics upload.

Voice Capture

Voice capture begins only after you choose it and grant microphone and speech-recognition permissions. Manifest requires on-device recognition before recording. Audio buffers are used temporarily to create the transcript and are not saved by Manifest.

Manifest Pro Purchases

If you choose Manifest Pro, the purchase occurs through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment, and RevenueCat receives purchase history and subscription status needed to offer, validate, restore, and manage your access. RevenueCat uses an anonymous app-specific subscriber identifier to associate that status with this installation.

Manifest uses purchase information only to provide subscription functionality. It is not used for advertising or tracking. Manifest does not send your unfinished drafts, reflection text, moods, identity labels, voice transcripts, or generated recommendations to Apple or RevenueCat as part of the purchase flow.

You can restore a prior purchase inside Manifest and manage or cancel an active subscription in your App Store account settings.

Optional Research Report

You may choose to share a content-free activity report through the iOS share sheet. You select its recipient each time. The report contains:

• product event names and timestamps;
• coarse app surfaces and closed allowlisted event context, including optional step-outcome categories;
• app version and build number;
• a random installation identifier.

The report excludes reflection text, moods, identity labels, voice transcripts, and generated recommendations.

The report file contains no name or contact information. However, the sharing service and recipient you choose may still associate the report with you through delivery details such as your sender address or device name.

If you send a report to Palm Tree Dreams Inc., the report and associated delivery details are used only to understand product activation, retention, and usefulness. They are not sold, used for advertising, or combined with third-party data. Research exports and associated delivery details are retained for no more than 90 days after the related cohort analysis, then deleted or aggregated without the installation identifier.

Tracking and Third Parties

Manifest does not track you across apps or websites and does not access an advertising identifier. Manifest contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. When Manifest Pro is enabled, RevenueCat is used only for purchase and subscription functionality.

Your Choices

You can:

• keep writing without granting microphone or speech-recognition permission;
• revoke those permissions in iOS Settings;
• choose whether and where to share an activity report;
• restore a prior Manifest Pro purchase and manage or cancel an active subscription through your App Store account;
• delete every reflection, identity signal, completed step, step outcome, and local product event using Delete all Manifest data inside the app.

Deleting the app also removes its local app container. Manifest cannot delete a report after you independently share it with another recipient. Palm Tree Dreams Inc. can apply the retention commitment above only to reports it receives.

Safety and Children

Manifest is coaching software, not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or emergency support. Manifest is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

This policy may change as Manifest adds accounts, sync, or other services. The policy and App Store privacy answers must be updated before any new collection begins.
